Food Waste Week

During Food Waste Week, we are reminded of the importance of reducing food waste.

National Food Waste Week is celebrated from 21–27 September 2026. We want to do our part by highlighting the importance of reducing food waste and sharing how we strive to minimize waste in our own operations.

In bakery production, demand for products varies from day to day, but our goal is to produce as accurately as possible according to actual demand. This helps us avoid unnecessary waste of both raw materials and finished products.

Over the years, we have developed our operations in many ways to keep waste to a minimum. We monitor product demand, plan our production carefully, and encourage our customers to place advance orders, especially during seasonal periods and holidays. Advance orders help us estimate demand more accurately and produce the right quantity of products.

Reducing food waste is an important part of responsible business practices. Every raw material saved and every product that finds a useful purpose helps reduce the environmental impact and ensures that valuable natural resources are used wisely.

Food Waste Week reminds us all that even small actions can make a difference. Together, we can reduce food waste and contribute to a more sustainable everyday life.
